I find your lack of faith disturbing.

That but this blow might be the be-all and the end-all here. But here$$$ upon this bank and shoal of time$$$ we’d jump the life to come.

I’d trade it all for a little more.

Memories are worse than bullets.

How many loved your moments of glad grace$$$
And loved your beauty with love false or true;
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you$$$
And loved the sorrows of your changing face.

There is a deep and usually frustrated desire in the heart of everyone to act with benevolence rather than selfishness$$$ and one fine instance of generosity can inspire dozens more.

No human being will ever know the truth$$$ for even if they happened to say it by chance$$$ they would not know they had done so.

Poetry is the breath and finer spirit of all knowledge; it is the impassioned expression which is the countenance of all science.

Poetry is the first and last of all knowledge - it is as immortal as the heart of man.

I would rather lose in a cause that will some day win$$$ than win in a cause that will some day lose!
