A man. All men. He will pass up a hundred chances to do good for one chance to meddle where meddling is not wanted. He will overlook and fail to see chances$$$ opportunities$$$ for riches and fame and welldoing$$$ and even sometimes for evil. But he won't fail to see a chance to meddle.
An old man is never at home save in his own garments: his own old thinking and beliefs; old hands and feet$$$ elbow$$$ knee$$$ shoulder which he knows will fit.
We have all heard what we wanted to hear! Truth that sounds right to our ears!
And when I think about that$$$ I think that if nothing but being married will help a man$$$ he's durn nigh hopeless.
I notice how it takes a lazy man$$$ a man that hates moving$$$ to get set on moving once he does get started off$$$ the same as he was set on staying still$$$ like it ain't the moving he hates so much as the starting and the stopping.
Nobody ever figures out what life is all about$$$ and it doesn't matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion$$$ which is life... and hold it fixed so that 100 years later$$$ when a stranger looks at it$$$ it moves again.
